Star Wars: Contract of Evil
Darth Maul – Edwin Villa
Darth Wroth – Lou Klein
Darth Anarcus – Chyna
Darth Terrax – Rusty Locke
Contract of Evil is a fantastic fan film which goes where Star Wars Episode I failed to go: to the uprising of Darth Maul. The filmette opens with the traditional Star Wars titles, being the words “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” followed by the yellow introduction text, which creates a nostalgic feeling for the viewer.
The film then begins on an unknown desolate planet, on a series of rocky cliffs licked by the constant waves of an untamed ocean where a small spaceship lands, and out comes Darth Terrax to seek his targets. Darth Wroth and Darth Anarcus emerge from their lairs snarling at Terrax as he announces that the secret Brotherhood of Darkness wants them dead, and that their journey to the Dark Side is over. The three begin to duel and after fierce saber fighting, Darth Terrax’s head gets chopped off by Wroth’s lightsaber. As Wroth examines Terrax’s remains, Anarcus makes a bold cry.
“Let all who oppose us seek us out for we will destroy them! All of them!” See the movie to find out the rest.
Of all the serious Star Wars fan films out there, Star Wars: Contract of Evil has been the most entertaining for me by far. The cinematography is wonderful and it’s almost hypnotic seeing the calm ocean rolling on the rocky cliffs under a cloudy sky. The special effects were also amazing. The boys at O’Hanna Productions did a great job with the computer generations, from the spaceship flying and the space views to the luminous intensity of the lightsabers.
Another great accomplishment was the make up and creature design. Seeing several beings of Darth Maul’s Zabrak species was very nostalgic because Darth Maul is the all-time favorite of many, not only for his ferocity and supremacy as a swordsman but because of the frightening appearance of his spiked teeth, horns, and tribal tattoos. Each Sith Lord had a unique face, with different facial features, different sequence of horns, and different tribal tattoos.
The costume design was good too, because each character’s robes and jumpsuit were very detailed, including the great detail on Anarcus’ briefly shown metal wrist guard. And the fight scenes were well choreographed, with lots of jumping, dodging, and parrying.
And whoever did the musical arranggements was wise to use John Williams' compositions. It was a good touch.
A lot of work went into this film on the part of Lou Klein and the cast and crew of O’Hanna Productions. To watch Star Wars: Contract of Evil, to contact Lou Klein or to get information on obtaining a copy of Contract of Evil on DVD, visit the home page at http://www.contractofevil.com.

Hello there to all STAR WARS FANS... I wanted to share some amazing things with you. In my youth I collected the toyz. But beign poor was immposible for me to even own more than ten.
At the Age of 17, I had and urge to collect since I was working and making some MULA, not until then did I really get into the entire STAR WARS UNIVERSE.
Boy it was a blast going to different shops, different places and events to find that right figure, or the one in MINT condition or the one in the package.
The Deeper I went into the Movies, I made an incredible discovery about ANAKIN SKYWALKER, he has similarities to "JESUS CHRIST" BORN OF NO MAN BUT FROM THE FORCE - CHRIST WAS ALSO BORN OF NO MAN, BUT AS THE SCRIPTURE or THE BIBLE SAYS - THE "HOLY SPIRIT" and me being a christian I thought it was genious of GEORGE LUCAS to Use that in such a way.
To influence the world and to show people the abilities of the inner spirit with in us or the will of the FORCE, which also means the will of the Holy Spirit. Well 4 years I spent hunting down figures and hanging out with buddies until that one day came when I was called to do the will of the
FORCE or the SPIRIT - Pursue GODS purpose for me.
I Lived in Burke Virginia at the time with barely any money in my pocket due to excessive spending on the toyz. But I strongly had to live to LA to pursue The SPIRITS WILL - SO I decided to GO, then I said to myself GOSH I have no money to go there.
But when sitting in my room looking at all the space ships hang from the ceiling and toyz lined up ready for battle, something was revealed to me which touched my heart. In my mind I thought - MATERIAL THINGS CAN ALWAYS BE REPLACED BUT THE DRIVE IS ONLY ONCE IN A LIFE TIME. Believe me it was very hard for me to sell my collection, but it was my only hope.
I shared tears but it was the only way.
To make it short I SOLD MY COLLECTION 300 pieces of toys including spaceships, AT AT WALKERS, NAME IT, FOR $250.00 dollars---------
With 250.00 in my pocket, I left to LA. A year passes and still with urge to haunt down GEORGE LUCAS. In time through friends I developed a demo reel of my acting and doing fight sequences. Upon completion I sent it to Judy Garland his casting director and waited.......waited...... No call..
So I gathered with a friend of mine and said, I tried everything and nothing came to pass. So as A christian I prayed in the park where I was sword training and left it alone. I said I've tried everything in my power the rest is up to you.
Sure enough I get a lead role in a MOVIE CALLED SHIRA THE VAMPIRE SAMURAI and met LOU KLEIN who WAS AN AMAZING ARTIST AND ACTOR. I was really happy and honored to have met him. He was like a master, full of hope, courageous, like a jedi.
He saw me choregraph some fight moves for SHIRA and Next thing you know. He Calls me to his office. When I arrive, he welcomes me and sits me down and says Im working on a movie, but Im having problems with ACTORS wanting to stick to the project, or should I say, I want someone who really wants to do this.
I looked at him and said, well what is it, what do I have to do in it? LOU stands up and gives me a piece of paper with three characters. I looked at it and didn't realized at first what it was but when I took a second look I saw DARTH MAUL - ANARCHIS - TERRAX - WROTH - And the title of the movie "CONTRACT OF EVIL".
Boy I jumpoed up and SCREAMED I"LL DO IT.... no thoughts or what if and no. I said I'll do whatever it takes. Lou looked at me and said, Let ME THINK ABOUT IT OVER THE WEEKEND. BOY WAS I SHOCKED and excited. I shook his hand and left the office.
BOY I PRAYED THAT ENTIRE WEEKEND THE HE WOULD GIVE ME THE CHANCE. Sure enough he calls me on MONDAY and says. " we are going to have rehersal at the park EDDIE, don't be late and let me go". Boy we rehearsed and rehearsed until we had every thing down. We bent lightsaber, broke them and rebuilt them.
ALSO RAY PARK SHOWED UP AND INTRODUCED HIMSELF TO US AT THE GYM. THANKS TO A FRIEND OF MINE - JJ PERRY - who happened to know RAY, so he invinted him over to see us. That to was a blessing.
When we started shooting the make up process was looooooooooooooooooooooong. I sat on a chair or sometimes like and Indian, legs folded in meditation because it was tiring. I was so focused that I started to notice things, LIKE how many people were on me placing make up, well thre was a number of 6, then it took them exactly 6 hours a day finish, Every day and here is the kicker. WE SHOT THE MOVIE FOR 6 DAYS - if you see the pattern you will see that is not a good number. 666 LOL. CONTRACT OF EVIL _ WIERRRRRRRRRRD.
Anyways we shot it and it was a good thing. I hope you enjoy it and always remeber that there's a higher power above watching, fulfilling your hearts desire. "MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU"

Well thank you very much Edwin for being able to confide in us. That was very deep and personal what you wrote there, and we appreciate that you have advice for us.
You played an excellent Darth Maul, and when you land that one big role in Hollywood that comes along, we'll be cheering for you.
